LETS RUN ; Part 2 of Make life Better
:) When
we’re open to new people, ideas, and experiences that helps Humankind to run
instead of walk. You’re day to day
interactions can be insanely good every day.
Your life can be great almost every single day. How does one do this? Use open body language and speak to those who
appear to be open to interaction.
Observe the beauty that surrounds you every single day and in every
single moment. Pursue every ambition,
and use the advice of naysayers (those who try to pull you away from fulfilling
your dreams) to improve your methods of achieving your ambitions. (:
(: Open body language keeps one from appearing aggressive,
dangerous, creepy, etc.(Note that that language you use is important as well)
and it assists in the development of positive social-interactions. When you’re open to new experiences and new
people you’ll find out about incredible things regarding the world which you’ve
never known! We all concentrate on our
specific areas of knowledge yet gaining interesting information from others
will show you that the things which can appeal to you cross all academic
disciplines. :)
When engaging a new person in conversation then attempt
to gear your speech to answer two big questions: “Why should I care what you’re
saying?” and “How does this relate to me?.”
Be yourself. Speak joyously yet
always answer these two fundamental questions so you don’t bore or bother the
person whom you are speaking to. Now
this won’t keep 100% of people from wanting to disengage the conversation
anyway as nobody can make everything sound interesting to everybody. Yet, if you keep these questions in mind then
you’ll generally have a better time.
(: An example to start a conversation with a stranger
without seeming so odd that they’ll not like you goes something like this:
You: Hi, my name is YOU
and I’m trying to make some new friends.
What’s your name?
Them: THEM name
You: Pleasure to meet
you. What do you study here (if in
academic setting) or is there anything that you learned lately that you found
extremely interesting.
Them: stuff :)
(: Be open to the diversity of interests. They might speak about stuff that you never
thought of before. Yet you’d be
surprised how interesting this might become.
I recently learned from somebody that you can make paint using eggs and
pigment. I don’t study art. But it was a pretty fun thing to learn
about. :)
(: Be open to the diversity of cultures. Living your life only speaking to members of
your own culture limits you to a box.
Understand this fact; you have a lot in common with people
worldwide. Try talking to people from
other cultures, if you don’t do so already, and see if I’m wrong. (:
(: Be open to the idea that you don’t have to agree with
someone 100% of the time to enjoy their company. We can have rational conflicts in opinions. These conflicts relate to identity questions
(talked about in the Intro to this series) not to values. We still all want the world to be a better
place. We all want the greatest ideas
which humankind aspires to, to be achieved!
If someone disagrees they only disagree on your interpretation of
identity questions, they aren't criticizing you as a person. They are criticizing a few ideas which you
have. Humankind is one race with the
same general values. (:
(: Walking is action.
Walking isn't just about getting someplace. Walking is an experience. How much you enjoy that experience is
dependent on how you approach it. If you
think that it’s annoying, people are in the way, etc then “You’re gonna have a
bad time”. But if you instead see it as
an opportunity to see people smiling, laughing and if you observe the music of
the skies(chirping birds) and the beauty of nature then you’re going to have a
great time, every time. :)
(: People are not in the way! People are moving, acting, doing. People are achieving something. You may not know how the things they are
achieving will affect you. Yet they will
affect the progress of Humankind, thus it affects you (tiny acts build upon each
other exponentially). Embrace the
reality that is the contributions of others to the constant elevation of the
aspirations of Humankind. (:
(: “Your time is limited,
so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which
is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of
other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And Most important, have the courage to
follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want
to become. Everything else is secondary. “- Steve Jobs :)
(: Pursue every ambition. If you kind of feel like you should do
something then do it! Quickly make a
rational decision over whether your ambition could help you. Could is the word. You need not be right. You need only the desire and the
possibility. The work I've done thus far
related to unitary language concepts have all been done through work which I
began in the past 7 days. It has come
from speaking to my Arab brothers in Humankind (randomly on intuition that I
should). They've all offered amazing
tips and suggestions which have strengthened my abilities far quicker than if I
had tried to do something alone. :)
(: Some people hate seeing others happy
because they lead sad and bitter lives.
They will try to make you feel as low as they do. What do you do with those people? Well, first see if there’s any ways which
their criticisms can be constructive to the development of your ambitions. Second, toss them aside. Ignore them.
Get them out of your life, is possible.
When there are billions of people on this Earth why speak to the ones who
will make you feel low when you could speak to the ones who will make you feel
high!? There are more people who will
support than who will bleed their negativity on you. Show empathy & love. With most people you will get it in
return. :)
(: Not every person who criticizes your
ambitions are trying to rain on your parade.
Some people are just skeptical.
Skepticism is good! Keep those
people around and learn to tell the difference between skeptics and the sort of
naysayers I previously described. Use their
skepticism to improve your ideas, ambitions, and abilities. My writing has greatly been improved through
critiques spanning from freshman year to now (Senior). :)
(: Taking acts that have been suggested
in this part will help you soar. The
more people who do this, the more Humankind will soar. Interactions are facilitated this way. Ideas are spread this way. Bonds are formed this way. This is how we may know peace. This is empowerment.
:)
May you always be in peace,
caleb
